Juaboso District Assembly Holds Crucial Project Commencement Meeting.

On July 29, 2026, the Juaboso District Assembly hosted a pivotal commencement meeting at the office of the DCE, officially marking the start of newly awarded development projects. The meeting brought together key Assembly officials, technical experts and the managing directors of various qualified construction firms.

​The session was opened by the Honorable District Chief Executive (DCE), Alexander Adu Quist, who formally welcomed all attendees. In his opening remarks, the Hon. DCE urged the contractors to execute their projects efficiently and deliver within the stipulated timelines. He emphasized the critical need for continuous coordination with the Assembly’s key officers to ensure seamless and effective project delivery.

​Providing a technical overview, the District Works Engineer highlighted the scope of work and the various projects as indicated below;

i. Complete the Construction of 1 no 6 unit classroom block, staff common room, office, store, 4 unit toilet, 4unit urinal and changing room at Juaboso

ii. Drilling, construction of boreholes and installation of hand pumps at Danyame and Amadu Krom

iii. Construction of 1 no CHPs compound at Adwumam.

iv. Complete the Renovation of DCE’s bungalow with furnishing at Juaboso.

A key operational directive from the Engineer was that all project sites must be equipped with standard signposts for clear identification.

​The DCE stressed the importance of a professional and effective working relationship. He emphasized that strong coordination and positive interactions between the project consultant and the contractors are paramount. He further urged contractors to support the Assembly’s office to facilitate necessary administrative activities.

​On communication protocols, the District Coordinating Director, PLN. Godfred K. B. Banornumah, advised the contractors to strictly channel all official communication and reporting through the Works Department to maintain procedural clarity.

​In his concluding address, Hon. DCE Alexander Adu Quist again urged the contractors to maintain a good working relationship with all Assembly staff. He also encouraged the contractors to demonstrate corporate social responsibility by supporting the Assembly’s offices with the purchase of IT equipment.
