The review meeting provided an opportunity for the Assembly to highlight progress made across major sectors, including revenue mobilization, education, health, agriculture, and road infrastructure.

The Assembly recorded significant improvement in internally generated revenue (IGR), exceeding its revised budget target of ₵1,196,200.00 by 11.55%, achieving a total collection of ₵1,334,368.89. This performance reflects a remarkable 216% increase compared to the ₵616,597.49 collected in 2024, demonstrating strengthened revenue strategies and improved financial management.

He further announced that the district produced the 2025 Regional Nominee for the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence, marking a significant academic achievement.

Health

The DCE highlighted several health interventions implemented through collaboration between the Assembly and the Member of Parliament, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh. These included the provision of delivery beds to selected health facilities, the completion of four CHPS compounds, and the construction of two additional CHPS compounds to improve primary healthcare delivery.

Additionally, the MP supported health service enhancement by providing 10 motorbikes, one vehicle, and two tricycles, aimed at improving outreach and mobility for healthcare workers.

Agriculture

Under the Government’s agricultural initiatives, the Assembly distributed 6,000 coconut seedlings to 250 farmers and sensitized 898 farmer-based organizations, representing over 22,500 farmers, under the “Planting for Food and Jobs – Feed Ghana Programme.” These interventions are designed to promote agricultural productivity and food security within the district.

Road Infrastructure

The DCE disclosed that the Assembly mobilized resources to reshape several key roads, including the Mafia to Krikosue (23km) stretch, Eteso Junction to Eteso (23km), and the Asawinso to Agyemang Diem road corridor. These interventions aim to improve transportation, facilitate trade, and enhance connectivity across communities.
