Juaboso District Supports Artisans Under National Apprenticeship Programme
The Juaboso District Assembly, under the leadership of Hon. Alexander Adu-Quist, District Chief Executive, in collaboration with Hon. Emmanuel Baidoo, Youth Employment Director for the Juaboso Constituency, and Regional Youth Employment Directors, has presented apprenticeship materials to selected artisans in the constituency.
The presentation ceremony took place on Thursday, 19th February 2026, as part of the National Apprenticeship Programme, an initiative introduced by the President of the Republic of Ghana to promote skills training and youth empowerment.
Under the programme, ten master craftsmen received one machine each, along with essential working tools, to enhance productivity and improve service delivery. Their apprentices were also provided with machines to support hands-on training and practical skills development.

The beneficiaries included welders, dressmakers, and hairdressers, representing key vocational sectors within the constituency.
This intervention reflects the Government’s commitment to promoting youth employment, strengthening technical and vocational training, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities within the Juaboso Constituency and beyond.
