Juaboso Robotics and Quiz Team Honoured After Outstanding Performance at 2026 AIRTAD

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Juaboso, Hon. Alexander Adu-Quist, today received the Juaboso Robotics and Quiz Team following their remarkable performance at the 2026 AIRTAD Annual Impact Roundtable Discussion held in Accra.

The team delivered an outstanding performance at the competition, securing 1st Runner-Up in the Basic Level category for Most Innovative Project and emerging as winners of the Robotics Quiz Competition in the Basic School category.

The event, held in Accra, brought together leading schools from the capital and participants from selected West African countries, providing a competitive platform for innovation, creativity, and academic excellence.

During the reception, Hon. Adu-Quist commended the students for bringing pride to the district and reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to supporting science, technology, and innovation initiatives. He encouraged the team to continue striving for excellence in future competitions.

The team was accompanied by Hon. Adu Blankson, former Presiding Member for Juaboso, and Mr. Kingsly Obeng, Centre Manager.

Also present at the reception were the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Godfred K.B. Banormumah; the Human Resource Manager, Mrs. Christiana Boateng; and the MIS Officer, Mr. Theophilus Tawiah, among other officials.

The achievement highlights the growing potential of students within the Juaboso District in the fields of robotics, innovation, and academic competition.
