Juaboso District Assembly holds strategic management meeting to restore operational efficiency and improve service delivery following recent industrial action.
The Juaboso District Assembly convened a high-level Management Meeting on Tuesday, 24th March 2026, at the Office of the District Chief Executive, as part of efforts to reposition the Assembly’s operations following the recent industrial action by CLOGSAG.
The meeting, chaired by the Acting District Coordinating Director, Mr. Godfred K.B. Banornumah, brought together Heads of Departments and Units to undertake a strategic review of institutional performance and to define a clear path toward restoring operational momentum and service efficiency.
A key focus of the engagement was the need to strengthen the Client Service Unit as a critical interface between the Assembly and the public. Management underscored the importance of upgrading the Unit to meet expected service standards, with emphasis on responsiveness, adherence to administrative protocols, and improved handling of public and staff concerns. The discussions reflected a broader commitment to enhancing accountability and ensuring a more citizen-centered service delivery approach.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to assess departmental outputs, particularly progress made during the last quarter, while identifying operational gaps that require immediate attention. In this regard, management emphasized the need for improved coordination, timely reporting, and performance-driven implementation across all departments.
In his remarks, the Acting District Coordinating Director commended staff for their resilience and dedication, especially in navigating the challenges associated with the recent work disruption. He, however, stressed the need for renewed commitment and heightened productivity to address service backlogs and meet institutional targets.
The engagement concluded with a collective resolve to strengthen internal systems, improve efficiency, and uphold the Assembly’s core mandate of delivering responsive and effective services to the people of the Juaboso District.
