Hon. Alexander Adu-Quist Engages Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) for Needs Assessment Ahead of Item Procurement and Disbursement
JUABOSO, WESTERN NORTH REGION — The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Juaboso District Assembly, Hon. Alexander Adu-Quist, with the help of the District Social Welfare Officer Mr.Amofa Lawrence held a consultative stakeholder meeting with Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) across the district.

The engagement aimed to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment prior to procuring and disbursing supportive items, equipment, and financial grants under the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) Disability Allocation.
Key Highlights of the Engagement:
• Direct Consultations: Hon. Adu-Quist emphasized that understanding the specific individual and economic needs of beneficiaries ensures that procured items yield maximum impact.
• Targeted Allocations: Support will cover start-up kits for small business establishments, educational support, medical assistance, and assistive devices.

• Commitment to Inclusion: The DCE reiterated the Assembly’s dedication to economic empowerment and social inclusion, ensuring no community member is left behind in district development.
