Juaboso District HIV/AIDS Committee Convened Key Stakeholder Meeting at JUABOSO.
This morning, the District Coordinating Director (DCD), Mr. Godfred K. B. Banornumah,on behalf of DCE,chaired the District HIV/AIDS Committee meeting. The DCD warmly welcomed committee members to the meeting.
During the meeting, Mr. Lawrence Amofa,the Focal Person for the committee, delivered a detailed presentation outlining the functions, core duties, and the committee’s proposed work plan for the year. Following his presentation, members engaged in a thorough discussion, addressed key questions, and finalized key updates to the annual work plan.
Additionally, Mr. Emmanuel, the acting Director of Health Services, presented an update on the current status of HIV/AIDS within the district.
Stakeholders Present: District Coordinating Director, Officers from the Ghana Health Service, Representatives from Traditional Authorities, Religious Leaders, Education Directorate, Social Welfare Officers, and the MIS Officer.
